Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Here are answers to frequently asked questions about NekotApp applications. For more information about how information is handled, please also review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. Do the apps display ads?
Some applications may display ads using advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Whether ads are displayed and where they appear varies by application.
2. Can I change my consent settings for ads?
If the application includes an option such as “Privacy Settings,” “Ad Settings,” or “Consent Settings,” you can change your choices there. The steps vary by application, so please also check the settings screen within each application.
If no applicable setting is available in the application, use your device settings or the settings provided by the advertising service. Setting names and screens may change when the operating system or service is updated.
3. What are personalized ads?
Personalized advertising uses information such as application usage and device information to display ads that may be more relevant to your interests.
Depending on your consent choices, region, and device settings, you may see non-personalized ads instead.
4. How can I change the tracking permission for App Tracking Transparency (ATT)?
ATT is an iOS / iPadOS permission setting for tracking across other companies’ applications and websites. On an iPhone or iPad, you can change the permission for the relevant application at any time by following these steps:
- Open the Settings app.
- Select “Privacy & Security.”
- Select “Tracking.”
- Change the permission for the relevant application.
The ATT tracking permission and consent choices for advertising are separate. Disallowing tracking does not necessarily prevent ads from being displayed. Where the application displays an option such as “Privacy Settings,” “Ad Settings,” or “Consent Settings,” you can change your consent choices for advertising there. Setting names and screens may also differ depending on your operating system version.
5. Can I remove ads completely?
Whether ads can be removed varies by application.
If an in-app purchase or another option for removing ads is available, please follow the instructions within the application. Some applications do not currently offer an ad-removal option.
6. I tapped an ad. What happens next?
Tapping an ad may open an external website, the App Store, or another destination.
Products, services, and content shown at an advertising destination are operated by their respective providers. NekotApp does not manage those destinations or guarantee their content or terms, so please review the information shown there before using them.
7. What information do the apps use?
The information used varies by application. Depending on an application’s features, quality-improvement needs, and advertising, it may use information such as:
- Approximate location
- Device and advertising identifiers
- In-app activity
- Crash information
- Performance information
For details, please review the NekotApp Privacy Policy and the “App Privacy” information on each application’s App Store page.
8. Where is the data I enter stored?
In general, records and settings entered by users are stored on the device. However, specifications may vary by application, so please also review the description for each application and our Privacy Policy.
Data stored on the device may be deleted when the application is removed.
9. Can I use an app without allowing location access?
Applications that use location information may still be usable without location access, but some features may be limited.
Alternative behavior varies by application, so please follow the guidance and description provided for the relevant application.
10. Can I change notification or location permissions later?
On an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and select the relevant application to change permissions such as notifications and location access.
The names of settings and the screens shown may differ depending on your operating system version.
